Christmas/New Year holidaysArgoNet's offices are closed from 24th to 28th December inclusive and on 1st January. We would like to wish all our customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.The Educational Technology ShowArgoNet & ArgoSphere are exhibiting at BETT'99, the world's leading educational IT event, being held in the Grand Hall at Olympia from 13th to 16th January. Admission is free and we'd be delighted to meet existing and prospective customers on our stand, M70. We promise not to have live llamas on our stand - you'll have to rely on visiting the ArgoSphere Web site on this occasion!The information below is for Acorn RiscOS computer users.EasiReader - 3 weeks from concept to despatchInitial orders for ArgoNet's new product, EasiReader from Icon Technology, for reading and printing Microsoft word documents were despatched on the 18th of December.Javascript delayedThere has been a delay in the release of Javascript for the Fresco browser, for which we apologise. Due to problems encountered during beta testing, ArgoNet has had to postpone the release of this new RiscOS product. Our current estimate for first despatches of Javascript is now February 1999.Voyager - new versionA new version of Voyager (v2.02) was planned for general release earlier this month. This has now been postponed into next month. |
