WORSHIP TASK TEAM

We set out at the very beginning of the year to plan for the change over from ASB to the New Lectionary appertaining to the current Sunday Eucharist Service Booklets with effect from Easter 2002.

This we have had to postpone due to the loss of our Vicar, Chris Hardman, on her promotion to Arch Deacon of Lewisham, and pending the appointment of a replacement Priest. Hopefully, we hope to resume this very important task as soon as possible.

But all is not lost. We are continuing to monitor the support for our monthly Sunday Evensong attendance, currently averaging some twenty-eight regulars. May we hope for a possible increase?

Lastly, for the second year in succession, a coach party was organised, in conjunction with St Georges, St Mary's of Walkern and St Peter's of Benington to attend the Advent Sunday Procession and Celebration at St Alban's Abbey.

To those who could not attend, may we recommend participation this coming year?
