Youth and Children Task Team
Annual Report 2001/2002
This Task Team usually meets every three months, and receives reports
from Junior Church/Sunday School, TJI Group and Toddler Time, plus Christ
the King 'Praise Together' Service.
We cover all aspects of work
with young people - from toddler to adulthood, and report to the Parochial
Church Council. It is the responsibility of the Task Team to see that
Church groups are implementing Child Protection and Health and Safety
practices wherever young people are involved. The Task Team also acts
as a discussion forum for all aspects of ministry to young people.
There are currently ten members
of the Task Team, and four meetings were held during 2001/2002. There
have been some changes to the Task Team - Christine Hardman moved on,
and Judy Crook and Mark Smith joined us. Jan Wilson became Child Protection
Officer and Diane Hanlon her Deputy.
Finally, the Task Team would
like to thank those who volunteer their valuable time to work with the
young people of our Parish.
