Holy Trinity Junior Church (3-6) Report

The sudden death of Margery Heskins, our group leader for so many years, left us all somewhat stunned, least of all the children themselves.
At the time, many tears and hugs were shared, and undoubtedly it was their love and smiling faces that helped me carry on.

This past year has seen our older children move into the next class, sometimes joining their elder Brothers or Sisters. This at times can lead to mixed emotions. At the same time new faces have joined us and we've soon got to know them. On the register at present we have eight regular children with three familiar faces we see from time to time when visiting Grandparents and relatives.

The children always look forward to taking something home and it's getting increasingly difficult to think up new ideas and exciting ways of presenting the same story you've covered at least ten times over.
Thankfully the leaflets the children take home have recently changed. Instead of being just black and white they are now fully coloured and aimed at attracting their attention.

With the grace of God and the inspiration of my Mother, Margery, I hope to continue serving the children in the best way I can.
