TRAIDCRAFT
At present we have five volunteers
who open the stall every Sunday, with the exception of Christmas, Easter,
etc., and August. However, when it is closed, any one of them will get
what you want if you ask.
Our turnover is not large -
only a small amount of what is in the catalogue - but
we have some regular customers to whom we are very grateful. We put maybe
£25 - £30 each year into the coffers of Holy Trinity, but
also have the satisfaction of knowing that people living in the third
world are guaranteed a
reasonable and regular income,
Christmas is a busy time, and
we thank everyone who places an order then.
Last year, the catalogues arrived in good time and almost everyone received
their complete orders. We sold approximately £800 worth of goods.
We have five volunteers at
the moment - Margaret Brendish, Kate Cope, Diane Hanlon, Glynis Ireton,
Fiona Wheatley, plus Philip Rowland-Morris who gives his time willingly
each week. So, thank you all for keeping the stall going. Iplace the orders
and act as a depot for deliveries.
