COMMUNION TO THE HOUSEBOUND

Taking communion myself and then taking the sacrament to the sick and house-bound remains, after four years, a very important part of my Christian life. It is a privilege and honour to be able to administer to those unable to join us in Church and I know how important it is to those who receive communion in this way. The blessing that sends us on our way out of Holy Trinity with the sacrament is very special and endorses the role with which we have been entrusted. For some of the housebound, it is the only person they will see on a Sunday and after the service it is good to spend a short while with them before returning to Holy Trinity.
