Traditional Morris Events: St George's Day: April 23rd
St George is the patron saint of England
and a few other places as well!! This list is far from complete; during the last
few years and since the year 2000 there has been an upsurge in interest in celebrating a
'National Day' for England. The dragon on the right features in the
St George's
day celebrations in Salisbury.
